Man charged with murder of Byron Bay's beloved DAD BOD



A man has been accused of the murder of mainstream Byron Bay DJ Chris Bradley, known as DAD BOD, who was pounded the life out of on Christmas Day.

The 28-year-old "turning legend" was not able be restored subsequent to being struck at a gathering at a house in Carlyle Street, Byron Bay.

Police captured a 24-year-old Byron Bay man at Ballina airplane terminal on Thursday morning after he touched base on a flight from Sydney.

It is claimed he struck Mr Bradley on the head a few times. Police said the sum total of what parties had been drinking and liquor was a factor in the occurrence.

The two men knew each other.

Mr Bradley, who moved to Byron Bay from Sydney, was quite adored in the neighborhood move music group and only three days before Christmas had played at another scene RYCE.

He was a normal on nearby radio station Bay FM and furthermore part-claimed Byron-based craftsman administration organization, Atypical Entertainment.

Music Producer and CEO of Turban Records Taranpreet Ahluwalia portrayed Bradley as "the turning legend of Byron".

His "devastated" sister Maddie Bradley took to Facebook to affirm his demise and respect her sibling.

"Chris was in an a terrible occurrence the previous evening and couldn't be resuscitated," she said.

"To state the words I've lost my enormous sibling … it's painful.

"Who could do such a horrendous thing to such an astounding man.

"You lit up the stay with your one of a kind characteristic identity and chuckle, I'll miss hearing it."



Kindred DJ and Producer Thorne Nyker likewise took to Facebook to commend Mr Bradley's sympathy and drive.

"I cherish you mate," he said.

"I guarantee to play your tracks in my sets till I can't squeeze sign and turn that run wheel no more."

On Thursday, BAY FM devoted their evening show to Bradley by playing his most loved tracks.

The Byron Bay man accused of Bradley's murder has been rejected safeguard and will show up at Lismore Local Court on Friday.
